The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 22: Why Sheldon wants $300 million

The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 22

The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 22 is an episode that doesn’t need a great deal of explanation when it comes to why it’s probably going to be funny. You’ve got Amy trying to do something that is a traditional for any bride-to-be in wedding dress shopping. Meanwhile, for Sheldon Cooper he is going in the exact opposite direction in trying to win $300 million — not for himself, but apparently for science to make the world a better place. This is precisely the sort of thing that Sheldon would do and despite whatever his best intentions may be we are certainly more than confident that this is going to blow up in his face by the end of the half-hour.

For more on this, take a look at the attached synopsis:

“The Monetary Insufficiency” – Sheldon goes to Vegas to win money for science. Also, Penny and Bernadette take Amy wedding dress shopping, but her terrible choice entangles them in a web of lies, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Thursday, April 26 (8:00-8:31 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The idea of Sheldon working within Las Vegas is a pretty funny concept in its own right — but unfortunately, we don’t really see anything too successful coming from it. Do you think that Sheldon is going to be the sort to discreetly gamble? We can imagine him trying to count cards and getting called out on it extremely quickly, just as we can also imagine him struggling with the notion of playing any game where chance is a big variable in it.

As for Amy and her wedding-dress shopping, this should be mostly an exercise in restraint for both Penny and Bernadette as they do virtually everything within their power to steer the bride-to-be away from certain bad dresses and over to ones that could be better suited for her.
