Lucifer season 3 episode 23 spoilers: ‘Quintessential Deckerstar’ details

Sometimes, all you need is an episode title to be excited about something. This is very much the case for Lucifer season 3 episode 23, which carries with it the title of “Quintessential Deckerstar.” That’s a pretty strong indication that there is something big coming for the show’s central relationship and we’ve got three words to say in response to that: It’s about time. The show’s status beyond this season is not clear and with that in mind, we do want to see some movement when it comes to this relationship by the time we make it to the end of the road. Even if the two parties are not together, we certainly would like to see some movement that could lead to something more down the road.

When Lucifer and Chloe investigate the death of a woman, they discover that they may be pursuing the wrong suspect. Then, Charlotte risks her safety when she decides to take matters into her own hands, and just as Lucifer makes a huge confession, he gets a tragic phone call that changes everything in the all-new “Quintessential Deckerstar” episode of LUCIFER airing Monday, May 7 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

As we move into the finale, almost everything could be on the line for Lucifer. There are lives close to him that could be in danger, and to go along with that, we certainly do wonder what’s going on with Cain at this point. He is not mentioned within the synopsis, but by no means does this serve as confirmation that the character is gone from the show for good. There could be a way in which he rears his head in a surprising way before this story concludes, even with the mark gone and his future path (presumably) a little more clear.
