Law & Order: SVU season 19 episode 20 return date for Mariska Hargitay, cast
Unfortunately, let’s kick things off here with a rather-unfortunate reminder that there is no new SVU next week, as NBC is gearing up for the final home stretch of the season. The series will return come Wednesday, May 2, and from that point on, there will be new installments the rest of the season. The first of these will be entitled “The Book of Esther,” a complicated case that will put the spotlight on Kelli Giddish as Amanda Rollins.
If you do want to get some more insight regarding this episode, we suggest that you check out the full synopsis below:
05/02/2018 (09:00PM – 10:00PM) (Wednesday) : Rollins (Kelli Giddish) races to rescue a girl being held captive by her father (guest star Ray McKinnon). Also starring Mariska Hargitay, Ice T and Peter Scanavino. Also guest starring Rebekah Kennedy (Esther Labott), Brandy Zarle (Debbie Labott), Sami Molly Bray (Rachel Labott) and Eric Elizaga (Dr. Hale).
Beyond SVU season 19 episode 20, there are a few other things that we know. For starters, the show’s 21st episode entitled “Guardian” is one in which Fin could be leading the charge. Beyond that, there will be an episode coming up later this season that could be a tragic story where elder abuse is a theme when a suspected rape victim is a woman suffering from Alzheimer’s. There are a lot of big stories still to come this season and that is without diving too much into whatever the story for the finale is going to be. Suffice it to say, we’re super-psyched to explore that and whatever performances we get from Mariska Hargitay and the remainder of the cast.
SVU often tends to go hard at the end of the season, so be prepared for something emotional, relevant, and fitting for the entire journey that we’ve had a chance to go on for season 19 as a whole.
