Chicago Med season 3 episode 19: Dr. Manning, April put in tough situations; Ava, Connor are at odds
For more, take a look at the attached synopsis:
05/08/2018 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Tuesday) : Dr. Manning rushes to save a young boy who has a life-threatening case of the flu. After discovering that opioid pain killers were stolen during last week’s mass casualty, April believes Dr. Choi’s sister took them. Dr. Rhodes and Dr. Bekker disagree over the best treatment for a cardiac patient who is 21 weeks pregnant.
The drama continues as Natalie will be putting the patient ahead of herself as she tries to save a young boy’s life. Knowing her she will do anything to save his life, even though she has a ton on her mind. She and Will have hit another roadblock after he confessed he was close to sleeping with someone else. We can imagine that there will be some tension between them at work and that it will be distracting for both of them. However, we know she will try and distance herself from her personal life in order to focus on her patient.
Meanwhile, April will face a challenge that puts her in unfamiliar territory. When she suspects that Dr. Choi’s sister stole drugs from the hospital, she will have to decide how to tell Dr. Choi her suspicions. This isn’t going to be easy. We know Dr. Choi and his sister have their differences and this could just set them back even further after just getting back into each other’s lives. So did his sister steal the drugs? We don’t know exactly, but she did have cigarettes and people in her brother’s apartment when he told her not to. So was that foreshadowing this incident? Possibly, but we will have to wait and find out for sure.
For doctors Ava and Connor, they will once again be at odds. However, the question remains will it be a bitter disagreement or a playful one? Sometimes when the two disagree they aren’t angry by the other’s opinion; at other times, they are. So it will be interesting to see what this case will be. The two are essentially a great team and from last night’s episode they have each other’s backs. Their partnership works and the occasional tension between them adds a great element to the show and we can’t wait to see where this goes.
