Suits season 7 finale spoilers: First details on Mike, Rachel’s farewell

The Suits season 7 finale is coming on Wednesday, April 25, and beyond that it’s also coming as the second hour of two that are airing on the night. There are a couple of different boxes that need to be checked here over the course of the night. For starters, these episodes could mark an opportunity to see the Jessica Pearson spin-off show (which has already been launched over at USA) given the green light once and for all. Beyond that, this is also going to be a really good opportunity to see how exactly Mike Ross and Rachel Zane depart once and for all. There are already photos out there spoiling that a wedding will be taking place, but there are still a number of different questions surrounding just how the ceremony is going to happen and the way in which they will specifically depart.

One thing that we do know following this past episode is that both Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle’s characters already have an inkling as to how they would want to leave the world of this series behind. They want to travel, whether it be somewhere a little more tropical or even somewhere remote a la Iceland. The two don’t have any real concerns in terms of money; instead, moving forward it’s about living the best life with each other.

Take a look at some of the official details regarding the two episodes that are coming on that night. They don’t necessarily resolve anything suggested within this piece, but it does give you a pretty good sense that the firm will be working to balance many different things at the same time when these stories come on the air.

Season 7 episode 15, “Tiny Violin” – “Harvey and Louis are blindsided by an attack against Specter Litt. Meanwhile, Mike can’t turn his back on the clinic when a class action suit overwhelms Nathan and Oliver.”

We do wonder whether or not this is a play on the expression “playing a sad song on the world’s tiniest violin,” a move you make for someone trying to throw themselves a bit of a pity party.

Season 7 episode 16, “Good-Bye” – “It’s all hands on deck as Louis, Donna, and Alex defend the firm, while Harvey aids Jessica on a case. Mike and Rachel juggle their commitments to the firm, the clinic, and each other.”

There is no premiere date yet for Jessica’s spin-off, but this episode will eventually pave the way for it.
