Blue Bloods season 8 episode 20 return date: Victor Lugo returns

Blue Bloods season 8

Want to see the Blue Bloods season 8 episode 20 return date for Donnie Wahlberg and the rest of the cast? Look know further … but know you’re going to be waiting for a good while.

Because Blue Bloods has a smaller episode order than either Hawaii Five-0 or MacGyver before it, there are going to be some hiatuses that you get along the way. One of these said hiatuses is going to come next week. The CBS show will return on Friday, April 27 to kick off what is the stretch run of the final three episodes with “Your Six,” a story that is going to bring back Danny’s archenemy-at-the-moment Victor Lugo and, to go along with that, some surprising drama. Don’t you think that Danny is going to be rather upset about the idea about having to ask this guy for help? It’s certainly far from his personal idea but in this particular moment, he may not have all that much of a choice.

Below, the synopsis tees up a little bit of just what you can expect to see:

“Your Six” – When Danny resorts to asking his incarcerated archenemy, Victor Lugo (Nick Cordero), for help locating a dangerous criminal who escaped from prison, Lugo refuses to assist unless he’s allowed to accompany them on the pursuit. Also, Frank subtly tries to convince Jamie to take the sergeant’s test, and Erin’s plan to go on a date with her ex-husband causes friction between her and Anthony, on BLUE BLOODS, Friday, April 27 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Obviously, there is a lot going on within this episode beyond just the return of Lugo given that you also have Jamie making a big decision that could help to inform his entire future. Meanwhile, Anthony’s in full protector mode with Erin — it’s understandable that he could have some major trust issues with Jack, but is it possible that he’s changed? For now, we’re just thrilled to be getting more of that character on the show and for the series to be setting up some more personal arcs as we start to near the end of the season.
