MacGyver season 2 episode 21 preview: A bank hostage crisis
For starters, this episode is going to feature what we like to think of as a classic MacGyver dilemma — the character finds himself in some sort of precarious position and then, in turn, has to figure out a unique way to escape. Maybe some of his pals within the Phoenix Foundation can lend a helping hand but, as we’ve learned many different times over at this point, there is no guarantee of that. He’s probably going to be on his own at some point.
What’s also notable about the story is the setting, given that we’re going to be seeing Mac in a different part of the world in Puerto Rico — even if the series itself films in Atlanta, it would be great if it figures out a way to shed a light on some of what is going on down there. After all, remember that we’re living in a world right now where we are all constantly chasing the next big story and things are moving a million miles a second. It is important sometimes to remember that there are still people out there who need support and attention — especially with such a long-term project like Puerto Rico after what happened there with the hurricanes.
Below, the MacGyver season 2 episode 21 synopsis does offer up some additional insight now on the subject of what’s next:
“Wind + Water” – While MacGyver is in Puerto Rico helping his friend rebuild his hurricane-damaged home, he is taken hostage in the bank his friend manages when robbers attempt to steal $2 million, on MACGYVER, Friday, April 20 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Hopefully, there will be an inspirational angle here, but also be prepared to expect some non-stop action and danger. With an episode of this nature, it almost feels as though it’s a given that there is drama around every corner.
