Arrow season 6 episode 19 preview: Enter ‘The Dragon’

Slade Wilson's son

Arrow season 6 episode 19 is airing on The CW in one week’s time and it carries with it a fairly simple title: “The Dragon.” This is one of the most important episodes of the year in terms of Ricardo Diaz and his possible endgame. We know that he will do more or less anything in his power to assemble an even greater coalition; for him, the best way to do that is to meet up with some prominent members of organized crime called The Quadrant. Is that the most interesting name for an organized-crime division out there? Not exactly, but we suppose that it works.

The Arrow season 6 episode 19 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below does give you a little more of just what you can expect to see from this hour of television:

DIAZ SETS HIS SIGHTS ON THE QUADRANT – Looking to expand his empire, Diaz (guest star Kirk Acevedo) and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) meet with The Quadrant, a coalition of mafia families who run national organized crime. Meanwhile, after Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) recent decision, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Curtis (Echo Kellum) double their efforts on building Helix Dynamics. Gordon Verheul directed the episode written by Spiro Skentzos & Elizabeth Kim (#619). Original airdate 4/19/2018.

Remember Helix Dynamics? It is nice to see that this could become somewhat of a thing again, but character-wise, we do still have a hard time forgiving Curtis after what happened with Diggle earlier this season. This is where the Arrow producers really dropped the ball when it comes to viewer expectations this season — they didn’t apparently count on just how permanent the effects of the New Team Arrow storyline could be. We’ll just have to see if Felicity can get past all of this and actually make the company work fast enough in order to do some good for other people.

At the moment, it absolutely does feel clear that Arrow needs however much good it can possibly get in the midst of some recent craziness.
