Gotham season 4 episode 19 preview: ‘To Our Deaths and Beyond’

Gotham season 4

When you are thinking about intense Gotham episode titles, you don’t often seen ones that will make your jaw drop more than the one for season 4 episode 19. “To Our Deaths and Beyond” actually feels like a line that would be in either Braveheart or Gladiator, and not so much within some sort of comic book world. It’s an interesting bit of insight into the show and we’re absolutely curious to see some of what’s going to be coming up within it.

This is an episode that is going to push both Gordon and Bullock to the limit as they find a way to take down a surprising new foe; meanwhile, it’s also one that puts Barbara Kean’s life on the line in a way that we haven’t quite seen before. For some more insight, be sure to check out the Gotham season 4 episode 19 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below:

Gordon and Bullock try to figure out who the clever thief is behind the robberies of various bank branches in Gotham. Meanwhile, Barbara is put in danger, forcing Tabitha to recruit help in the all-new “A Dark Knight: To Our Deaths and Beyond” episode of GOTHAM airing Thursday, April 19 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

One thing worth noting: Jerome is now gone. Any more trouble is likely coming via his brother Jeremiah … who is potentially the Joker.

Given where we are in the season (there are, after all, only four episodes left!), it almost goes without saying that there is a lot of exciting content coming up! We’re going to have the Joker, crazy showdowns, and potentially a finale that features a few things that you wouldn’t expect.

Above all else, be sure to watch this episode live given that the series’ future really does depend on it. We do want to see this series find a way to score a season 5 renewal since this is a show with so many great stories left to tell and a cast that gets us excited to tune in every week.
