NCIS season 15 episode 21 spoilers: Abby’s night out

Based on some of the early information that is out there, we’ve got quite a bit to like when it comes to NCIS season 15 episode 21 — starting, of course, with the fact that Abby’s getting a big story.

In a move that may be leading into the final arc for her character (or, if nothing else, start to push her in this specific trajectory), this upcoming May 1 installment entitled “One Step Forward” is going to revolve in part around Abby getting a most-unusual dinner reservation that seems to be perfectly weird for what we know about this character. She’s going to be heading off to an igloo and has to figure out who will be the ideal guest to go alongside her. This should be funny, even if it doesn’t serve as anything other than a lighthearted counterpart of the main case.

The NCIS season 15 episode 21 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below offers up some further insight when it comes to what lies ahead:

“One Step Forward” – Sara Carter (Skye P. Marshall) begs Gibbs to investigate her mother’s murder as she believes the local authorities convicted the wrong man. Also, Abby is awarded a dinner reservation for two to a brand-new five-star restaurant in an igloo and has to decide which coworker deserves to go with her, on NCIS, Tuesday, May 1 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

For those out there who recognize the name Skye P. Marshall, she’s been a big part of Black Lightning this season over on The CW, where she is playing the part of Kara Fowdy. This gives her a chance to enter a different world and be exposed to a very different sort of audience. This also should be a really powerful story for Gibbs since it offers him a chance to showcase some of his heroism out in the field. Where Gibbs shines is with his determination and this may allow him an opportunity to right what he considers to be a fairly significant wrong.
