What’s not to like here? After all, we are getting a chance to see the famous Family Ties and Back to the Future star in the role of attorney Ethan West, a smart and capable man who could end up having a huge impact on his future as President. This is the sort of person who operates underneath the surface and can influence decisions without the attention being directly on him. He’s probably one of the most-shrewd characters in the entire series and with that in mind, we are excited to see how this story plays out:

As more content from President Kirkman’s confidential therapy sessions continues to leak out, Vice President Darby meets secretly with the entire Cabinet, resulting in attorney Ethan West (Michael J. Fox) looking into the president’s past – while playing a large role in his future as commander in chief.
Thematically, all signs point towards this episode playing up some of the same stories that we’ve had a chance to see for the majority of the season so far. That means an opportunity to learn a little bit more about the leaks that have been going on within the White House. Someone is doing just about everything within their power to ensure that the entire Presidency is corrupted and things are probably going to get so much worse before they get better. There are, after all, only a few more episodes to go in this season. That means that along the way, there may be a few more opportunities for surprises.
