Outlander season 3 gag reel tease features Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe
Below, you can check out some of the best moments (via Entertainment Tonight) from this particular reel featuring Sam Heughan (Jamie Fraser), Caitriona Balfe (Claire Fraser), and many more. There are some genuinely funny moments in here, a ton of swearing, and a reminder that even with this being a drama, there are a number of funny moments that happen behind the scenes. Having some fun ensures that the series has the perfect atmosphere around it. If everyone is having a good time, there is a pretty good chance in turn that everyone is going to want to stick around for a little.
Here are just a few of the moments that CarterMatt enjoyed the most.
1. Richard Rankin doing a jig – After seeing this, we’re very curious as to what a Rankin dance party looks like.
2. Goats – Hey, we all know that working with animals is harder than working with just about anyone in the business! During one particular scene it looks like production found themselves at the mercy of some very talkative goats who wanted to make their presence felt.
3. Tobias Menzies vs. Thomas Dewey – Everyone has that one word or phrase that they cannot say properly for the life of them. In the case of Menzies it appears as though his one thing is “Thomas Dewey.” Eventually he gets it out, but not before some stumbles along the way.
We have to imagine already that there are many great moments being saved for a season 4 gag reel, mostly because producers are well aware that this is one of the biggest selling points for any DVD. Most of the viewers who are buying them have already seen the episodes (probably many times over), so you have to find some other way in which to convince them to purchase the DVD’s when they are released when they could just watch the episodes online. Maybe for some, having the hard copies of the episodes is enough. However, for others we feel like there’s still very much a demand for bonus content, whether it be this or getting to see some cool stuff involving the show’s production behind the scenes.

Outlander season 4 premieres on Starz later this year. Hopefully, there will be some more fun video content to share between now and then, especially since we are already in the throws of the Droughtlander.
