Big Brother Canada 6 live feed spoilers: Is Merron or Ryan going home?

Merron Haile

The Big Brother Canada 6 house can certainly be a strange place, and we absolutely feel that especially going into tonight’s eviction show with Merron and Ryan on the block. CarterMatt will be back later with full results, but for now, Merron is in pretty deep trouble.

On paper, Ryan has done way more to actually deserve going home, but he’s almost become the show’s version of an idiot savant who makes a million mistakes and somehow finds a way to persevere through most of them. He’s seemingly done that yet again at the moment. Despite stirring the pot and acting overly confident to the point of being pure ego, it appears as though he’s got the votes to stay. Erica has the tiebreaker and with that, she helps to really swing things in his favor. Johnny seems especially intent on sending Merron home, for reasons that are probably somewhere along the lines of “he’s a threat because he’s a similar sort of under-the-radar player.”

As of last night, Merron was so convinced that he didn’t have the votes that he ate a cookie even though he’s technically a Have-Not. At this point, he really doesn’t think it matters so he’s just doing it without a care in the world. (It’d be pretty funny now if he does end up staying and gets a penalty for it.)

So where do things go following tonight’s eviction? More than anything else, we’re probably hoping to see either a Will, Maddy, or Ryan Head of Household just for the sake of causing a little bit of chaos. Seeing one side of the house dominate isn’t necessarily all that much fun and we’d like to see things get mixed up a little bit. Another interesting idea would be seeing either Derek or Kaela get into power, mostly because of how “Daela” has proven to be positioned in an interesting spot. There are some people out there in the game interested in taking the two out, but they could be the rare showmance that floats much further than they have any business floating. They are dangerous given that both of them are athletic and could easily win a competition at some point down the road.

Overall, kudos at least to Ryan for making this week more interesting than it had any business being. While he’s not a player worth rooting for on the strength of his game, there is value with someone like him being in the house, even if it comes mostly from the unintentional comedy side of things.
