Want to see the first preview for Code Black season 3 leading up to the CBS show’s debut a little bit later this month? We now have that for you below; prepare yourself!

In the video below (via SpoilerTV), you can see the first teaser for what is coming up for the Marcia Gay Harden – Rob Lowe series. These characters are working within the confines of one of the busiest hospitals in Los Angeles; yet, what also makes this show different from some other hospital dramas is how much time they also spend outside of it. As this show progresses onward you will see some of these characters out in the field, working to solve medical crises before even arriving back at the hospital. This is being set up to be one of the most exciting versions of the show to date, and the one concern that we have comes via its timeslot.

By premiering come Wednesday, April 25, Code Black is being set up in the most unfortunate position in which there are going to be new episodes airing over the course of the summer. The good news that comes with this is very likely tied to the fact that there won’t be as much competition out there within the summer months. Yet, at the same time there are some other clear problems. Namely, there are some big problems when it comes to there being less viewers around due to it being the summer. Code Black was a bubble show prior to season 3 even starting; what is it going to be like now.

As previously reported, one of the most exciting additions to the show this season is Moon Bloodgood. Beyond that, we’ve got a feeling that there are going to be some other newcomers and exciting additions who you see over the rest of the year. This is a show down for getting new faces on board as often as possible, and in so many ways that makes sense. If you’re trying to make a realistic hospital environment, one of the things in turn that you really have to expect is that there’s going to be pretty constant turnover. While some doctors and nurses stay put, there are also plenty of other ones that don’t. As the season progresses, hopefully you’ll get a sense as to how this carousel works this time around.
