The 100, iZombie, Life Sentence still waiting on CW renewal decision
While the majority of the shows airing on The CW are now officially renewed for another season, there are a few others remaining firmly on the bubble. For the sake of this article, let’s go ahead and look at The 100, iZombie, Life Sentence, and Valor to get a better understanding as to what could be coming for them.
The 100 – At the moment, we call its future a toss-up mostly because the series has yet to even return for its latest season. If the numbers are close to what they were for season 4, it will probably be renewed just because we cannot imagine this show without some sort of proper ending.
iZombie – Meanwhile, in this case we’re talking about a show that has already posted a few episodes and while the ratings aren’t great, we still could see a renewal coming just because the network is adding an extra hour of programming and needs to fill spots. At least iZombie is a show with a devoted audience out there and it is procedural enough that you can miss an episode or two and still understand what’s going on. It is almost the opposite of The 100 in that sense.
Life Sentence – The fate of the Lucy Hale series, on the other hand, is certainly in question at the moment. Through the first few episodes the numbers haven’t been great, even to the point where it was recently exiled to Fridays. While Dynasty is coming back even though something similar recently happened to it, we don’t seen lightning striking twice when it comes to poorly-rated CW shows.
Valor – There are probably some people who may not even remember that the military drama aired this season. At the moment, we absolutely consider this to be the longest of long-shots in terms of a show potentially coming back for more.
