Arrow season 6 finale spoilers: Caity Lotz returning
According to a new report coming in via Collider, Lotz will bring back Sara Lance in some capacity on Arrow, even if it’s not entirely clear at the moment as to precisely what she will be doing there. It’s at least a sign that the Legends of Tomorrow cliffhanger won’t be too devastating for her, and our personal hope is that this could end up leading to her spending some time with Katie Cassidy’s Black Siren, who is of course the doppelganger to Earth-1 Laurel Lance.
It makes sense for Lotz to come back on Arrow given that so much of her history is deeply rooted with this show. After all, she first appeared on Arrow at the start of season 2 after the Sara role was recast; following that, she has since moved over to Legends of Tomorrow even after being previously killed off on one occasion. She has close relationships with so many people in Star City that it could be fun seeing her in this environment. It would also be nice to see Brandon Routh stop by again at some point as Ray Palmer, but it doesn’t appear as though this is something that is going to be happening at least in the near future.

This move seems to just be a way to honor the entire Arrow-verse and to get another little crossover out there before we reach the end of the season. All of these CW shows are going to be presumably back for another season so don’t view this as one finale chance to check out this character.
