Once Upon a Time series finale: Raphael Sbarge returning as Archie
In a post on Twitter, Sbarge himself first confirmed the news with what has to be one of the best images possible: A picture of himself alongside Pongo, everyone’s favorite dog from 101 Dalmatians. Archie was a huge part of the show’s first season and while his role has come and gone since, he did have a big part across multiple different episodes in season 6 and we’re absolutely happy to have him back. This is an actor who has done a lot of other great shows during the time in which Once Upon a Time is on the air, including Longmire and also Murder in the First and Blue Bloods.
Once Upon a Time will air its series finale this May on ABC; while we don’t necessarily suspect that Archie is going to have a pivotal role in the plot of the episode, he will be there to help wave it off into the distance — with the same thing being said for Storybrooke itself. The finale is entitled “Leaving Storybrooke” and with good reason given that this town is a character in the same capacity as many of the actual people on the show. It’s been a refuge at times, whereas at others been a place of near-constant chaos that looked as though it was about to be torn limb from limb.

As for when you can actually start to see official photos for the Once Upon a Time series finale or a trailer, you are probably going to be waiting for a good while — think in terms of late April or May. There is no need at present for the producers to try and rush things along.
