STAR season 2 episode 11 preview: Carlotta’s past; ‘Take it to Church’

What is coming up on STAR season 2 episode 11? There are many different things that is going to be explored, whether it be the status of Take 3’s touring schedule or what’s going to be coming up with Simone. Can’t she just catch a break? It already feels like she is going through hell in the aftermath of Karen’s death and it doesn’t feel like there is a chance for her to breathe easy in the aftermath of it.

Charles (guest star Richard Roundtree) makes a decision about Noah’s upcoming tour that leaves Take 3 in a tough spot. Jahil remains committed to doing whatever it takes to make sure Andy (guest star Elijah Kelly) and Angel (guest star Evan Ross) get to the top. Meanwhile, Ayanna returns and drops a bombshell that will have a major effect on Simone’s future, and Carlotta’s past is relived through one of the girls in the all-new “Take it to Church” episode of STAR airing Wednesday, April 4 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

The promo below does offer up a little bit more information as to what is coming up, including just how Alex’s future could be put in a tricky spot because of Noah’s tour. She is going to be basically sent along with him, and that’s troublesome for two different reasons. For starters, it separates her from an opportunity to perform regularly with her group. Also, it creates some really different dynamics that could lead in turn to jealousy or some other problems in the end.

STAR season 2 episode 11 should prove to be one of the most interesting stepping stones this season, mostly because it feels like tonight’s installment served in part as a means to tie together some of the loose ends from the midseason finale including the fire. Now, things can really start to progress forward.
