Designated Survivor season 2 episode 16 preview: A bombing threatens everyone
First, there’s determining precisely where the bomb is. After that, there’s another problem in trying to defuse it. At some point along the way, you also have to figure out what you want to do in order to ensure the President’s safety. This could mean moving him underground to prevent another tragedy similar to the one that took place in the pilot. This is a show where we’ve learned over time that horrible things can take place within the blink of an eye. Ultimately, you just have to do whatever you can in order to prepare for them.

President Kirkman and his staff have credible intelligence that a dirty bomb is on U.S. soil, thrusting the president into a high-stakes effort to find the bomb and stop it from detonating. Meanwhile, at the White House, Emily approaches Chuck to help her with something that has damaging and illegal consequences, on ABC’s “Designated Survivor,” Wednesday, April 4th on ABC, streaming and on demand.
Just how much play is the Emily – Chuck storyline really going to have when you consider what’s going on with Kirkman and the bomb? You do have to wonder given that it’s pretty clear which storyline of the two is the scariest. At this point, Designated Survivor is a show that is firmly on the bubble of a renewal and needs to do just about anything that it can to get some more attention.
