Chicago Fire season 6 episode 18 spoilers: The FBI takes over Firehouse 51

Chicago Fire season 6 episode 18 carries with it the title of “When They See Us Coming,” and all details as of right now suggest that this is not going to be an ordinary episode of the show. Over the course of the hour you are going to see some unusual people in charge of Firehouse 51 and with that, we could be seeing a rather unusual collaboration. Think more in terms of the Chicago PD crossover than something that’s similar to anything else that we’ve seen on the show in the future.

04/12/2018 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Thursday) : When the FBI takes over Firehouse 51 for an undercover mission, Casey and Severide volunteer to assist with the investigation. Kidd attempts to help Severide come to terms with recent developments he’s been managing. TV-14 L, V

There’s a part of us that thinks about Dick Wolf’s upcoming FBI project when reading this, even though that show is going to be coming onto CBS rather than NBC. This episode is still set so far into the future that the network is obviously hesitant to give away too much information about what’s coming, though it does appear as though the relationship between Severide and Stella is going to be sticking around in some shape or form. We really do hope that it lasts this time — in retrospect the first breakup was almost needed just because they needed to learn more about how to get back to each other and how to be on the same page. They are more ready now than they were previously and hopefully they can go the distance similar to what Casey and Dawson have done.
