Empire season 4 episode 10 sneak peek: Cookie’s quest

After a rather long hiatus Empire season 4 episode 10 is finally going to air on Fox come Wednesday night. At the center of this entire episode is apparently one simple question: How far is the Lyon family going to go in order to save Lucious?

For a few more specifics, take a look at some of what the cast and crew has to say on this subject in the video below — they go through some of these twists and turns and also talk about the central one: Claudia holding Lucious hostage and putting Cookie in a position where she has to be proactive in order to get him back … and not to mention violent.

As it is mentioned in the video, one of the things that is great about this sneak peek is that it is a very nice circumvention of the classic trope where the prince comes and rescues the princess in danger. Here, it’s the man in danger and Cookie has to go and fight off Demi Moore’s character in order to get him back. This is going to be fun, but at the same time probably because it’s Empire and that is precisely the sort of show that this is.

As for what else is going to be coming up in the second half of the season, we do wonder whether or not Lucious’ crisis and the desperate rescue for him will actually bring the family back together — you know, the same family who at one point was at the center of murder plots against each other. All of this sounds completely crazy, but at the same time crazier things have certainly happened than the Lyons actually working through all of their problems. They’re all pretty guilty of something at this point..
