Shadowhunters season 3 episode 2 could be very Malec-centric

Shadowhunters season 3 episode 2

While you had a chance to see a good bit of Malec in the premiere, all signs at the moment point towards Shadowhunters season 3 episode 2 being one of the most important episodes for these characters to date.

For starters, you’re going to get a chance to see a good bit of Alec and Magnus actually separate from the rest of the group, working together in a way that you haven’t quite seen from them to date. One of the things that you want to do with a show that is three years in is figure out something to do with the characters that is completely different from anything that has been done before.

Also, Magnus is probably going to need some of the added support within this episode given what it is potentially set to bring you: An appearance from Hamilton star Javier Muñoz as Lorenzo Rey. Insofar as warlocks go, Lorenzo and Magnus are not going to be on the same page — but we don’t want to say too much more about the character just so that viewers who watch it for the first time will be able to have some sort of element of surprise within the story.

Just in case all of this information (including also the photo above) did not get you more excited for this upcoming episode, hopefully the tweet below from show executive producer Todd Slavkin will. After all, this seems to be verification that we are gearing up for one of the best installments in some time if you are a fan of Malec. You’ll continue to see the two fight to make the world a better place, while also getting a number of moments that remind you why you love this couple so much.
