Legends of Tomorrow season 3 finale spoilers: The Wild West showdown
Given that this episode is entitled “The Good, the Bad, and the Cuddly” doesn’t it only feel appropriate that we are heading back to the Old West? Also, the “cuddly” part of this makes us think of Beebo, which really is the unofficial mascot of the entire season.
Below, the Legends of Tomorrow season 3 finale synopsis gives you a pretty good sense at the West coming up with the story:
SEASON FINALE – The Legends plan to vanquish Mallus by using the totems doesn’t go as planned, forcing Rip (guest star Arthur Darvill) to improvise. The team finds itself regrouping in the Wild West where they run into their old pal Jonah Hex (guest star Johnathon Schaech). Sara (Caity Lotz) leaves Ray (Brandon Routh) in charge of watching Damien Darhk (Neal McDonaugh), while she comes up with a new plan. Meanwhile, Amaya (Maisie Richarson-Sellers) is determined to find a way to use the totems to destroy Mallus. Dominic Purcell, Tala Ashe, Keiynan Lonsdale, Nick Zano and Franz Drameh also star. Dermott Downs directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Phil Klemmer (#318). Original airdate 4/9/2018.
None of this information comes is all that much of a surprise. For example, the moment that you knew that the Legends were going back in time to the old west, you probably were able to assume that there would be an appearance of Jonah Hex. He has been on the show a couple of times already and it’s always been when the series is in the era.
Beyond just that, we are a little bit curious to see just how the totems could be used in the end for the final battle with Mallus. is this going to be a Captain Planet sort of situation or the powers are combined and with that, there is a solution in place to take the demon down? Time will tell.
