Hawaii Five-0 season 8 episode 20: More on Catherine’s story, Junior’s father

If you’ve been reading some of the news out there about Hawaii Five-0 season 8 episode 20, you likely know already that Michelle Borth is coming back as Catherine. With that, you also probably know that McGarrett and Jerry are heavily involved in her story. It’s a quest to find a uranium deposit, which we have to say is somewhat worrisome for so many reasons. For one, we’re talking here about something that could kill thousands of people. Beyond just that, there’s also the issue of Steve’s radiation poisoning, something that is still with him and could eventually impact his overall quality of life. It’s been said that Steve won’t die because of it anytime soon but that is not keeping up from being worried about.

What you may not have known before today is that Hawaii Five-0 season 8 episode 20 is also going to feature one of the biggest stories to date for Junior Reigns as you learn more about him via the relationship with his father. Below, the official synopsis shares some more insight when it comes to that:

“He lokomaika’i ka manu o Kaiona” – Catherine Rollins (Michelle Borth) recruits McGarrett and Jerry to help her track down a uranium deposit thought to be hidden on an abandoned Hawaiian island before a suspected terrorist can make dirty bombs with it. Also, when Junior falls and is trapped in a ravine, he reflects on his estranged relationship with his father, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, April 13 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

We are interesting to see what happens when Catherine is back this time, but we also don’t want to completely bury what is going on with Junior’s father given the fact that this is a chance to learn something new about a character that we’re still trying to learn a little bit more about. We know some of his relationship history and also that he spent time in the military, but there are some unexplored layers here that could help to break down some of the straight-laced visage that he has on the surface.
