For the People episode 3 preview: Sandra and Kate face off

For the People episode 3

For the People episode 3, at least based on the preview below, certainly has the feel of a show that is executive produced by Shonda Rhimes. There is a ton of drama in here, there’s a little bit of comedy, but at the center of everything is a case that is extremely relevant and revolves around someone leaking classified information. This is something that we’ve seen play out in the cases of people like Chelsea Manning and Edward Snowden in the real world, but how it turns out within this show is an interesting subject of confirmation and something that should absolutely be explored.

Below, the For the People episode 3 synopsis offers up some additional insight as to what you can expect to see coming up:

Sandra and Kate go head-to-head on a high-profile case involving a young woman accused of leaking classified information, but they learn to find common ground in their fight for justice and pursuit of the common good. Allison struggles to make a case for her client as the courts look to new technology to avoid bias, and Leonard seeks professional legitimacy at the cost of a personal relationship.

When you think about the main story at the heart of this episode, you know it to be one that has been told many times in the past: One of two people, eager to get ahead, deciding along the way that they are better off trying to figure out a way in which to properly work together. Kate and Sandra are going to figure out that they are obviously better off working together in order to ensure that this woman gets justice, and beyond that, this is also probably going to be what ends up helping their careers the most in the end anyway. Sharing a victory is absolutely going to be so much better than not even getting a victory at all.
