Blue Bloods season 8 episode 17: Check out new Jamie – Eddie photo!

Even though Blue Bloods season 8 episode 17 may not be airing on CBS until we get around to March 30, we do nonetheless come bearing some great news today regarding Jamie and Eddie — they will both be a part of the story within this episode. Remember the days when that in itself wasn’t a headline? That feels like a long time ago at this point.

Anyhow, the story for Jamie this week is going to be interesting mostly in the specific road that it sends the character down — he is approached by Tariq, a man looking to be reassigned from his undercover station at a mosque. Why come to Jamie for help? The obvious answer to this may have something to do with his status within the NYPD thanks to his last name. If there is evidence that he holds a certain degree of influence, then we absolutely foresee there being a lot of different characters who are interested in his help. As for whether or not he is willing to give that, let’s just say that this is an entirely different story.

Another question that you should wonder is why Tariq would want to be reassigned, and hopefully that’s a question that the show chooses to address in equal measure. Eddie’s appearance in the photos makes it clear that she is along for most of this story, though her specific role within these proceedings remains to be seen. We know that a little bit later this season something terrifying could happen to her, but we’re not there yet. (For all Jamko ‘shippers out there, we do wonder whether or not a harrowing experience could convince these characters to live in the moment and finally get together. That is absolutely a nice thing to think about!)

Given that this episode is still more than a week away, hopefully we do get an opportunity to see a little more scoop on this installment before too long.
