Instinct episode 2 preview: What lies ahead for Alan Cumming, cast
What should prove interesting is seeing what is effectively the second rodeo for Dr. Dylan Reinhart. In the pilot episode what you’re going to be seeing is Dylan get recruited in order to track down a serial killer, but at the end of the episode he’s going to believe that this is it. He can go back to his normal life and not have to worry about anything else … at least for a brief period of time. Instinct episode 2 will be the foundation to the rest of the series, and a reminder to go along with it that Dylan is going to have his work cut out for him tackling a wide array of different crimes along Lizzie. The two have a great partnership and it should be rather fun watching that blossom over time.
Below, the Instinct episode 2 synopsis offers up some more information as to what is coming up next in terms of the next case:
“Wild Game” – Although Dylan has returned to teaching, Lizzie calls upon his expertise with profiling sociopaths to assist with a bizarre case in which a venture capitalist was murdered and his body ritualistically displayed, on INSTINCT, Sunday, March 25 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
We tend to say this a number of times and it always bears repeating: Episode 2 is the most pivotal point in the run of any show. Most viewers out there tend to be willing to give a show at least a couple of kicks at the can. However, at the end of episode 2 viewers will often leave if they are not feeling the series. What Instinct has going for it is a great cast led by Alan Cumming. However, what it has working against it is a title that is somewhat nondescript.
Tomorrow, we will be back with a discussion of the premiere ratings — that should be a good launching pad for whatever is going to come next for the series.
