Blindspot season 3 episode 16 preview: Is Rich Dotcom getting fired?

Is Blindspot season 3 episode 16 going to be a huge episode for Rich Dotcom? Judging from some of the first information that we’ve got from next week’s “Artful Dodge,” signs seem to suggest that this is possible. The character has popped in and out throughout, really to the point where we wonder if he’s ever going to be promoted to series regular. That hasn’t happened yet, but we certainly can’t rule that out for the future!

For the time being all CarterMatt can do is share the official synopsis below for this episode. We do think that it gives you a sense as to why Blindspot season 3 episode 16 is going to be interesting:

03/23/2018 (08:00PM – 09:00PM) (Friday) : A CIA source threatens to tear the team apart. Rich’s (Guest Star Ennis Esmer) place in the FBI is called into question. Roman (Luke Mitchell) and Crawford (Special Guest Star David Morse) spend a day together under strange circumstances. Also starring Sullivan Stapleton (Kurt Weller), Jaimie Alexander (Jane Doe), Rob Brown (Edgar Reade), Audrey Esparza (Tasha Zapata) and Ashley Johnson (Patterson). Also guest starring Chad Donella (Keaton), Lauren Stamile (Millicent Van Der Waal), Demosthenes Chrysan (Gorovich) and Lisa Bostnar (Dr. Weber) TV-14 V

As is typical with almost any episode of the show, there are clearly going to be a lot of different things happening within a single episode. The team is in danger, Rich’s future is in danger, and Roman and Crawford may actually get some bonding time — however awkward that ends up being remains to be seen. We’re never going to object to seeing more of David Morse on the show!

Admittedly, one of the things that we are the most excited about with Blindspot season 3 at the moment is getting a chance to see Bill Nye as (potentially) Patterson’s father … though that doesn’t seem to be happening until a little bit later in the season.
