The Bachelorette first night films with Becca Kufrin

The Bachelorette first night is one of the most-anticipated nights of the year — at least for people who love this franchise. It’s where you see many a ridiculous limousine entrance and many crazy moments. There are great introductions, shocking reveals, and virtually anything and everything in between. There is also one person a season who tends to get really drunk and make a giant idiot of themselves.

Well, tonight the first night of filming for The Bachelorette is officially here. This was confirmed in a post on Twitter by creator Mike Fleiss (see below), and it gives you a sense as to just what sort of crazy party is coming tonight at the mansion. The first night is one of the craziest, most chaotic nights in all of reality television — filming often goes until the wee hours of the morning and you have producers, production people, and even non-production people all over the place. It’s a mad dash in so many ways to get time with the lead since if you don’t, there is a reasonably good chance that you will be gone in the blink of an eye and not really have enough time in order to make a case for yourself.

This season of The Bachelorette features Becca Kufrin and with that, this is probably one of the most-important seasons in a while. As awful as the finale for The Bachelor was, it in some ways is useful in promoting this upcoming season. There’s an investment in Becca and her story that clearly would not have been there with any other lead if the dramatic breakup between her and Arie had not happened.

The new season of The Bachelorette should premiere at some point in May; hopefully, we will have more news soon.
