Game of Thrones series finale: Series star satisfied over ending

Ser Jorah - Game of Thrones series finale

The Game of Thrones series finale will be coming on the air at some point in 2019 and we imagine that one feeling is probably universal to many out there: It’s borderline torture that there are some out there who already how the series ends. They’ve had the pleasure of reading the final script; yet, at the same time they also have the burden of spending the next year or so of their lives dealing with a bunch of people hitting them up and for spoilers.

Now, the good news — it does actually feel as though the wait will be worth it. Speaking per the Indian Express, actor Iain Glen (who plays Ser Jorah on the series) had the following to say when it comes to his reaction to reading this final episode:

“When I read it, I thought it was rather brilliant … I am a bit of a fan of the series, as well, and it satiated my expectations and hopes.”

Obviously, it’s no secret that Glen could say this regardless of what he feels about the ending as a means of better promoting the show. Yet, at the same time if he didn’t enjoy the ending another option here is that he could just say nothing here at all. We’re inclined to take him at his word since he’s been a part of the series for so long and we know that he cares about this world and the characters in it. We also know that he has his own share of high hopes for the ending — for CarterMatt, most of our own gratitude just comes with the fact that Jorah and some other favorites are still alive. As for whether or not he makes it through the end of the series, don’t assume that he does just because Glen got to read the final script.
