Law & Order: SVU season 19 episode 17 preview: ‘Send in the Clowns’

Law & Order: SVU season 19 episode 17 carries with it the title of “Send in the Clowns,” and just by virtue of the name itself that doesn’t necessarily sound altogether optimistic. As a matter of fact, anytime you say the word “clown” in 2018 it sends a chill down the spine of many. This is going to be a difficult, trying, and emotional episode that presents you with a case that is going to be extremely challenging. After all, not only is the SVU going to need to find a missing student, but at the same time also figure out just who is responsible for taking her. It’s a mission with two different issues at the heart of it and seeing these play out should prove to be very fascinating.

Beyond all of this, there is also a personal component to this episode for parties out there who want to see some more interesting stuff play out for Stone and Fin.

03/21/2018 (09:00PM – 10:00PM) (Wednesday) : When a student (Mallory Bechtel) disappears during a school trip to New York City, the cops race to find a mysterious masked man. Meanwhile, Fin (Ice T) and Stone (Philip Winchester) both get visits from family. Also starring Mariska Hargitay, Kelli Giddish and Peter Scanavino. Also guest starring Ernest Waddell, Migs Govea, Amy Korb, Will Sasso, Wendy Hoopes, Eric Tabach and Erik Jensen.

By the time we reach the end of SVU season 19 episode 17, let’s hope for some really interesting stuff overall for some of these characters to explore and that this episode satisfies. After all, it does look as though there is a short hiatus coming on the other side of it based on some of the information that is out there.
