Our title hero is going to find himself falsely accused and in the aftermath of that, his motives are going to be twofold. Not only does he have to see if there is a way to clear his own name but beyond just that, he also has to figure out if there is a way to also get justice for what happened to his father. This is going to be a pretty darn important story when it comes to pushing forward the trajectory of this season, while also giving some answers in the process.

FAMILY ABOVE ALL – In the aftermath of the latest killing, Black Lightning (Cress Williams) works to clear his name while also hunting down the person responsible for his father’s death, and anyone else involved. Tensions remain high between Black Lightning and Gambi (James Remar). The episode was written by Keli Goff and directed by Tawnia McKernan (#409). Original airdate 3/20/2018.

This episode is going to be bringing you pretty close to the home stretch of the season so it’s with that in mind that you have to hope episode 9 accelerates things. We are getting close to a big showdown, so don’t expect too much when it comes to answers almost right away.
