Scandal season 7 episode 14 spoilers: The path to Olivia’s redemption

What is coming on Scandal season 7 episode 14? This installment is entitled “The List” and, based on some of the information that we’ve got on this story, we’re going to see Olivia Pope do some of what she can in order to figure out how to get Gladiators back on her side. Based on everything that we’ve seen on the show to date, we’ve got a feeling that this is not going to be an easy task.

Below, the Scandal season 7 episode 14 synopsis gives you a good sense as to some of what’s coming; not only that, but also some of the latest when it comes to Olivia’s theory that Cyrus orchestrated the plane crisis in order to ensure that he was presented within a heroic light:

After Air Force Two’s extraordinary safe landing, Cyrus takes his victory lap as America’s newest hero, and Mellie demands that the Oval stop at nothing until justice is served. Meanwhile, Liv tries to bridge the gap with the Gladiators by disclosing her theory behind the hijack and Cyrus’s true intentions.

While Cyrus may have wanted to be declared a hero as a part of his long-term plan, there are still some other questions that this episode is forcing you to ponder. For example, is there something more to his plan? There has to be, since being likable alone is not going to be enough in order to ensure that he suddenly has the ability to overtake Mellie as the President. He seems to be plotting some sort of way in which to take her down, and the inner conspiracy theory within us is starting to have a feeling that he may be trying to pin the plane attack on her or those close to her trying to take down the plane. That would be the perfect way in which he could like a victim even more to the American people and take over the country the way in which he wants.
