NCIS: Los Angeles season 9: More on the Densi wedding planning process
If we were to answer that question with a black-and-white answer, it would be “yes.” However, this is not meant to be a verification that said wedding is actually happening this season! We’d love to see it, but at the same time there are only so much time that left and there are still many things that the series needs to accomplish. The first order of business on Sunday’s “Goodbye Vietnam” (read more here) is finding a way to bring Hetty back home. Following that, there’s also a need in order to properly reintegrate her into the rest of the team. Then, you’ve also got the weekly cases and then also personal stories when it comes to Sam and Callen to take on.
Here’s what we do know about what’s coming, courtesy of what Daniela Ruah had to say recently on the subject to Parade:
“They’re planning it. You’ll find lots of tidbits and lots of conversations regarding what they both want out of this wedding: We should do this. No, I don’t agree. We should do that. Where should we do it? How many people should we have? Deeks is like a small and intimate guy, and Kensi has a lot of people that mean a lot to her that have added up throughout the years that she wants to include in the wedding.”
As we get to the end of season 9 we imagine that the wedding story will heat up, even if we don’t quite get to the point in which the characters start to say their vows. The writers have to know that there’s a big demand for this wedding to happen; personally, the only reason in which we don’t foresee it happening is in the event the show wants to use that as some sort of teaser for the tenth season. That’s not confirmed as of yet, but we’ve got every reason in the world right now to be confident that it is going to be coming back.
