How to Get Away with Murder season 4 finale spoilers: Dealing with death

The How to Get Away with Murder season 4 finale is airing on ABC in one week’s time, and it really shouldn’t come as too great of a shock that the main crux of the episode is going to be seeing how characters come to cope with the aftermath of even more pain. It’s woven into what this show is at this point, but that doesn’t make it any easier at all.

The How to Get Away with Murder season 4 finale synopsis below does a pretty good job of sharing some of what is coming:

Annalise and her inner circle deal with the aftermath of a suspicious death that culminates with a shocking arrest. Meanwhile, a new development involving one of their own changes everything.

Basically, expect an enormous cliffhanger — if there is any one thing that we’re gleaming from this synopsis above all else, this is it: We’re on the verge of yet another jaw-dropping reveal that could fundamentally change the entire series. There is almost certainly going to be a season 5 for the series on ABC and with that, there is probably room for the writers to come up with a few dramatic reveals along the way. (We do hope that whenever there is a final season, the writers are able to tie together most of these stories and give us a little bit of hope for the future.)

Based on what we saw on How to Get Away with Murder tonight one of the other big priorities is going to be learning one way or another what happened to Bonnie. At the moment, her future is very much unclear — she may have been the person struck in that car accident. That’s the cliffhanger you are stuck with for a little while now.
