Gotham season 4 episode 14 preview: Can Bruce get Alfred back?

Moving into Gotham season 4 episode 14 airing on Fox in one week’s time, we are going to be seeing the Bruce Wayne character in a way that is very different than we have ever seen to date. This episode is going to be in part around a reunion; however, at the same time we’re also going to be see him fairly desperate to get Alfred back. Here’s the thing — you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone, and after everything that Bruce went through over the course of tonight’s episode, it makes perfect sense that he would realize he needs his butler and old friend.

Below, the Gotham season 4 episode 14 synopsis does offer you up a little bit more in the way of insight as to just what is going to be coming up on the show next:

Ivy (guest star Peyton List) picks her next target, leading Gordon and Lucius back to an old friend, as Selina tries to take matters into her own hands. Sofia wants full control of Gotham and turns to Lee about the state of the Narrows. Meanwhile, Bruce tries to make amends with Alfred, and Nygma visits Arkham in the all-new “A Dark Knight: Reunion” episode of GOTHAM airing Thursday, March 15 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

There are a lot of different things to be hopeful about in this Gotham episode beyond just what’s mentioned here, but to us, we’re very much interested in seeing what happens next over in the Narrows. While the Ivy story is exciting, at the same time we love it when the show is political and there are pieces moving about the chessboard. This could be a place where Sofia finds some serious resistance for a few different reasons; everyone in the Narrows really loves Lee and she’s the sort of person who could really take on Sofia.
