The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 18 return date: Bill Gates to appear
Let’s start, of course, with the return date. The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 18, entitled “The Gates Excitation,” is airing on Thursday, March 29. Thanks to part to the NCAA Tournament and also CBS only having 24 episodes of the show a season, we’re going to have to wait for a few weeks in order to see what is next. Hopefully the story proves to be worth the wait — we do think that it will, largely because
Below, the synopsis offers up some other news as to what is coming up:
“The Gates Excitation” – Penny gets the opportunity to host Bill Gates at work when his company wants to partner with her pharmaceutical company. Also, Leonard, Koothrappali and Wolowitz do everything in their power to meet him, while Sheldon thinks he is the victim of an April Fools prank, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Thursday, March 29 (8:00-8:31 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network.
Are you excited to get Bill Gates on the show? We’re sure that this is going to just be a silly, lighthearted arc (that tends to be what happens the majority of the time in which you have someone like him on the air), at the same exact time we’re excited to see is just because he is not the sort of person who you tend to see on scripted television. Gates is joining a roster of great people who have appeared on the show from the science / science fiction community, including Stephen Hawking, LeVar Burton, Katee Sackhoff, Wil Wheaton, and many more. Hopefully, there are going to be some more notable guests who turn up before the series finale — regardless of whenever that may be.
While we know that there is a long wait between tonight’s new episode airing and the one featuring Gates, the silver lining is this: There are going to be many episodes airing one week after another from late March until the finale airs. Maybe, at most, there are a week or two of repeats the rest of the way.
