Welcome to another edition of our third annual TV Madness Tournament! This is a fun annual tradition here at CarterMatt where we have some fun, engaging battles between various shows looking to make it all the way to the final round on March 28.

Above, you can see our full bracket, complete with entries, their seeds, and start/end dates. Once you are within the bracket, the dates listed are when the previous poll ends and the next one begins! We’ve got a great group of shows taking part this year, with some newbies as well as others who have been a part of the tournament every single year. The voting rules are pretty simple — you can vote however often you would like on however many devices that you would like! If you are on mobile and you are having a problem seeing the poll at the bottom of the article for whatever reason, be sure to click to view the non-AMP version of the page at the bottom of the article.

In this article, we’re going to be talking an established series versus a relative newcomer; yet, both shows in The Blacklist and SEAL Team have their own dedicated audiences and passionate fans will to rally for them. While they fall into a genre of TV that is somewhat familiar, their writers find a way to bring something unique to the table time and time again. They are both very interesting, unique shows and this should create for an interesting showdown — even if one of them is a clear favorite. (After all, there is a reason why

With that, let’s get to breaking down these entries further. Voting for this round remains open until Friday, March 16 at 1:00 p.m. Pacific time.

The Blacklist (#1 seed) – A longtime CarterMatt readers’ favorite, The Blacklist is absolutely in the midst of a great season. It’s had many surprises within it across the board in between the death of Liz and the continued search for answers in regards to the suitcase. While it has performed well within the TV Madness polls in the past, it has yet to take home the overall TV Madness title. This is its opportunity to do just that and we’ll see what happens from here.

SEAL Team (#8 seed) – Meanwhile, we’ve got our underdog here. The David Boreanaz series has performed well for CBS on Wednesday nights, and we know that in between him and the other members of the cast there is an established following here from their past work. SEAL Team is a show with a great chance of coming back for another season and we absolutely hope that it continues along its trajectory of great, compelling character drama.
