Shadowhunters season 3 spoilers: You will meet Magnus’ father
In a post on Twitter, series executive producer Todd Slavkin confirmed that you will have an opportunity to meet Asmodeus at some point over the course of this season — more than likely in the second half of it premiering potentially later this year. Given that the first half of season 3 is premiering in just under two weeks(!), you’ve got every reason in the world to think that there is some exciting stuff coming up. Seeing Asmodeus will be a way to help learn and be informed more about the past of Harry Shum Jr.’s character, and if you love Harry as an actor you have to love this. This marks an opportunity to give him so much more to do than ever before.
We just hope that you are patient to get there, since odds are you will be waiting to meet Asmodeus for a rather long time.

As for some other news on Shadowhunters…
One of the things that we know about Magnus in the early going for this season is that he’s going to have a lot going on. He and Alec are in a good place — they may have some bumps in the road, but most couples do and they’ll find their way to work through them. These two have already been through so much that they’ve shown their relationship is strong.
Elsewhere, all of our heroes are going to have their work cut out for them trying to find a way to take down Lilith, the Mother of Demons who will be arriving in the early going this season. She’ll have specific goals, and unfortunately it’s probably going to take more than just one warlock in order to stop her.
