Big Brother Canada 6 premiere review: Enter Heaven (or Hell)

Big Brother Canada 6 premiere

The Big Brother Canada 6 premiere on Wednesday night brought you almost everything that you could hope to: Intensity, drama, Heaven, Hell, and large man painting the show’s name on his chest.

Here are some odds and ends from what we felt about the cast:

-Hamza, a soccer coach from Thunder Bay, was the first person to enter the house. As trivia fans know, this means that he has a 0% chance of winning the game.

-Out of all of the people he could have awkwardly hit on coming into the house, Andrew chose to hit on the one women in Erica who would never be interested in him — she’s a lesbian. (Andrew may be a little TOO much, twist aside.)

-Rozina seems like an incredible woman. However, it also seems as though she’s super-loud and everyone will get really irritated by her within the span of just a few short minutes.

The first twist

All because he grabbed the wrong glass (we actually found this bit of randomness fun), Andrew ended up having the power to save seven houseguests — himself, Erica, Jesse, Derek, Hamza, Olivia, and Ryan. Basically, a ton of alpha dudes plus Olivia and Erica. The rest had to compete for Head of Household, a battle of endurance that was eventually won by Johnny. It came down to him versus our winner pick Paras — we’re hoping that Johnny will respect her and keep her around for a little while.

Who could be coming into the house?

Mikey, Kirsten, Veronica, and Merron are currently hoping that Canada is going to vote them into the house. Mikey and Kirsten are portrayed as the devils, whereas Merron and Veronica are the angels. Basically, your vote here is between people who are trying to play the game to be liked or people who want to see the world burn.

At first, we were going to vote for Merron and Kirsten to make it in — just, over the past few days we’ve started to change our mind when it comes to Mikey. The guy is probably going to be gone from the game within a month but it’ll at least be a crazy month! With Kirsten, we just know that she’s a huge fan of the show and she’s active in the community. We’d hate to not see her get in.
