Designated Survivor season 2 episode 13 preview: A look at ‘Original Sin’

Designated Survivor season 2 episode 13

Designated Survivor season 2 episode 13 is going to be an episode almost like no other. The title for this hour is “Original Sin” and that in itself implies that there are going to be some major trouble ahead. The title infers temptation, and it seems as though someone on President Kirkman’s team will have given in to a certain degree of that. Someone will be leaking valuable information to the media and it feels pretty darn clear that this could be dangerous for him. For starters, Kirkman may not know who this person is. Beyond that, there’s another problem here in that there may be no recovering from it. Once the media starts to follow a scent, they’re going to eventually find where it leads.

The Designated Survivor season 2 episode 13 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below offers up some more information when it comes to what is coming up:

When a video of the president visiting prison leaks to the media, his team works to minimize the fallout; while a surprise White House demonstration has deeper ties to the president than anyone first realizes.

This is the episode that really could set in motion what the second half of this season is going to be like. President Kirkman is going to be at war, but war is going to come in many different forms. There is diplomacy to deal with via the rest of the world, but there is also the statement that trouble often begins at home.

We’re barely past the halfway point of this season and with that, you can be assured that there is MUCH more in the way of crazy content coming on in the future. We don’t think that Kirkman’s President is in danger, but his legacy almost certainly could be — that matters a lot on this sort of show.
