NBC’s Timeless finally returns this Sunday and to say we are excited would be putting it mildly. We love this show and are super excited to see where we will be traveling to and thanks to NBC we have two sneak peeks to hold us over until Sunday.
The first sneak peek shows Lucy getting ready putting on the finishing touches to her World War I era clothing. As she looks in the mirror, someone knocks on the door. Now you’re first thinking is it is either Rufus or Wyatt, but it’s Carolyn, her mother. Dressed in a similar outfit as Lucy, we get the feeling it is her mother’s first time travel experience. We also get a weird feeling that Lucy and her mother have come to an understanding but one of them is hiding something and we have no idea what it is. The music in the background also gives an eerie feeling like something is going to happen. The two share a few conversations about how far Lucy as come in the last few weeks and that her mother is proud of her. Did something occur between them after Lucy discovered her mother is part of Rittenhouse? Or did Lucy join? Maybe that’s why the music has an odd feeling to it and what we don’t know yet is that if she did join is she actually a spy or was she captured? One reason we love this show is because there’s so much you do with the storylines of the characters and this is no exception.
The next sneak peek takes place when the two travel and they meet two-time Nobel Prize winner Marie Curie in France during World War I when Lucy asks her to help a wounded solider. What we do know is that Lucy has a special relationship with the fallen solider and that Wyatt and Rufus travel to her in the Mothership to rescue her from Rittenhouse. So maybe she was captured, but of course to have the right answer we are going to have to tune in. Either way we are missing a few critical pieces to this puzzle and based on some of the word that’s out there, this is going to be a great season. Are you ready for the ride Clockblockers?
