Chicago Med season 3 episode 11: He said, she said moment coming up for the doctors
The sneak peek starts just like every other day in the ER with paramedics bring in a woman who was fell down the stairs. She has broken bones and deep lacerations on her forehead. She also happens to be a suspect in a stabbing, in which she stabbed her neighbor. Dr. Will Halstead is called over to treat her and as he does all she can say is that she was trying to protect herself and that her neighbor wanted to kill her. We are immediately lead to believe the woman is crazy and delusional, but before we rush to conclusions, this show always has something else up its sleeve.
We are then introduced to her neighbor who is being treated by Dr. Ethan Choi and Nurse April. Obviously he is in pain after being stabbed and as he is being treated he says he hasn’t done a thing. He says all he did was knock on her door and was attacked. So what really happened because it feels like there are some pieces to this story missing. Could there be a medical condition that is causing the female patient to believe her neighbor wants her dead? There could be. We’ve seen similar storylines done before. Or, is one of them lying? Again, this is definitely possible. Something could be going on between the two, but they lied to protect themselves.
Overall, the problem between the two is quite intriguing and we are interested in seeing what will happen. What truly interest us is that this sneak peek focused on the patients of the week rather than the doctors. It was a different change of pace and we definitely will be tuning in tomorrow night. In addition, we will be seeing the debut of Dr. Sarah Reese’s father, for reasons we will be discovering.
One more thing: Isn’t it nice to see an appearance from Jay Halstead in this preview?
