Bull season 2 episode 18 spoilers: Dana Delany’s big episode

Bull season 2 episode 18 is going to be airing on CBS come Tuesday, March 27, and we’ve got a pretty good feeling that this is an episode some out there are going to be excited to see. This is a chance to see Dana Delany on the show, squaring off with Michael Weatherly’s Dr. Jason Bull in an intimidating role that could test the title character in some new and interesting ways.

“Bad Medicine” – Bull helps a doctor who crossed state lines to purchase a marijuana-derived oil to treat her patients in Virginia, where the oil is illegal. But the case is complicated when Assistant U.S. Attorney Sylvia Banner (Dana Delany) has the DEA arrest her for possession with intent to distribute, on BULL, Tuesday, March 27 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

One of the things that Bull has done a great job at over the past two years is casting some brilliant actresses as significant rivals to Weatherly’s character both inside the courtroom and out. Take a look at Jill Flint, Yara Martinez, Eliza Dushku, Archie Panjabi, and now Delany. This is a fun, diverse, and exciting group of performers who have all come on board and we’d be more than happy to see any of them again in the future. To date, all of these characters have been set up in a way that we could end up seeing them again at some point in the future.

As for the specific case itself that is coming, this should be an interesting one for a few different reasons. For one, marijuana usage in America is an extremely hot topic, and this episode could fan the flames a little bit more because of that. Bull episodes should generate discussion and this one seems like it could. Beyond just that, you’re throwing Bull into another complicated field in medicine that comes via its own rules and trades so much in facts and research. It will probably take some very different arguments to emerge victorious here.
