Suits season 7 episode 11 promo toasts Meghan Markle, Patrick J. Adams
The promo below basically serves the purpose of encompassing the entire journey of Patrick J. Adams and Markle’s characters on the show, starting from the beginning and ending with their engagement and Mike being released from prison. The two parties may very well get married now in the remaining six episodes, and we imagine that the network is going to make this into as big of an occasion as possible.
When it comes to what the network wants to do with some of these episodes, one of the biggest reasons why they may be waiting so long is simple: The Mike / Rachel wedding is probably going to happen rather close to the Markle / Prince Harry wedding. In doing things this way the network is basically setting themselves up to get as much publicity as humanly possible and it’s pretty darn hard to blame them for it. There will be two weddings featuring Markle within a short period of time!
As for how eventually Mike and Rachel are written out of the show, the simplest answer that we can come up with here is rather simple: More than likely, the show’s producers are just going to figure out a way to have them go to a new place and do more of what they love. We like the idea of them going somewhere that they can do the most good helping people who need legal representation. That’s been Mike’s goal ever since he got out of prison; he doesn’t seem altogether interested in the cutthroat nature of Pearson Specter Litt anymore.
