The Good Fight season 2 premiere trailer: An institution under siege

Good Fight season 2 premiere

The Good Fight season 2 premiere will be available for streaming on CBS All Access starting on Sunday, and what you can expect to see is one of the most violent, dramatic, and political premieres in quite some time. With the move to the streaming service after The Good Wife aired over on CBS, executive producers Robert and Michelle King chose to go bigger and bolder in crafting some stories surrounding these lawyers that feel both relevant and also refreshing.

Based on the trailer below, it certainly also feels like both law, and lawyers, are going to be very much under attack within the divisive world in which we live in. This is understandable, even though it is almost certainly rather cruel. Just think about where America is as a society at the moment. We live within a climate in which people spend almost all day sniping at each other at social media, and they develop ways in which to loathe those with the power to enact change. That is why there are so many people out there who loathe Congress, loathe journalists, loathe the President, or in this case, loathe lawyers. They are the ones who can enact change from the ground up before things even make it to state or national legislature.

When we say that lawyers are under attack on The Good Fight season 2, we actually mean that in a literal sense. The trailer makes it pretty clear just what we are talking about with lawyers being threatened, and in some cases physically harmed. Cush Jumbo, Christine Baranski, and Rose Leslie are once again anchoring the series, which will explore both their personal lives and the capacity that they have to enact others. This season’s going to be a thrill ride; we just hope that you’re prepared for some of the conversation-starters ahead.
