Suits season 7: The immediate Donna – Harvey complications
We know that we are, especially after waiting so long to get here in the first place, but you may have to wait a little while longer to see whether or not they’re actually going to get together. What CarterMatt does know is that when Suits season 7 return to USA later this month, the network is not going to waste a whole lot of time talking about the aftermath of the Donna – Harvey kiss.
According to a new report from TVLine, the upcoming episode is going to address what happened between Donna and Harvey right away. They’re going to have some things to talk about, and more so than that Harvey has to make some serious decisions between what he wants from himself and Donna in addition to whatever is going to happen between him and Paula. That relationship is the one that defined first half of the season for Harvey and they’ve grown close. However, it feels to us that Donna and Harvey are much closer in many aspects. After all, these two characters have so much more of a history.
There are six episodes still to come on Suits season 7, but there is no guarantee that the season will end with Donna and Harvey together. After all, the writers realize that there may not be that big of a reason to “rush” things along. Suits was already renewed for an 8th season by USA, and given that this current season has to deal with both the exit of Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle from the cast, it makes some sense for them to slowly build the Donna and Harvey relationship. We know that sounds terribly ironic given Donna and Harvey have spent so much time together already, but they may choose to let things simmer a little bit now that this kiss is out in the open and their relationship has the potential to change and redefine itself in the present era of the series.
