Grey’s Anatomy season 14 episode 14 carries with it the title of “Games People Play.” Doesn’t that sound like a lot of fun? In theory, it certainly could be. This could be an episode that serves as a nice respite for all of the drama that has happened as of late, especially when it comes to Meredith and people close to her. Based on some of the first details released by ABC, there may even be some signs that a lighter, happier time is coming as Meredith and her extended family get together for a fun night of games. However,we’ve got a feeling that almost nothing is going to go according to plan. When does it ever for the doctors and nurses at the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital? The same also goes for outside the hospital, given that this is where much of the drama this week could take place.

Maggie’s relationship with Clive starts to progress, and she invites him over for a game night to meet Meredith and Amelia. Meredith and Jo meet with the owner of the patent to the polymer they need for their project, who coincidentally is a friend of the family.

It goes without saying that the person with the highest stakes in this episode is Maggie, given that she is taking a huge step forward in her relationship with Clive. It’s a big deal to bring somebody home to meet your family, especially when it is a family that has gone through as much as she, Meredith and Amelia have. We really feel for the guy, given there could be some other feelings running amok here. we do not exactly think that things are 100% over between Maggie and Jackson (even though there is a part of us that would like to see it over just because we’re rooting for Jackson and April to get together instead).

This episode is going to have drama, some important character development, and hopefully will give us a good sense as to what the relationship is between Meredith and her two sisters by the end of the hour. We do still see much of the story through Meredith’s lens, so it should prove interesting seeing how she sees things with Maggie and her new love interest.
