Bull season 2 episode 16 preview: Cable’s replacement, Danny, and trouble

What is coming up on Bull season 2 episode 16? The title for this installment is “Absolution” and from the standpoint of the trial itself, this one should be interesting. It’s not often that Bull gets an opportunity to correct an error from the past; this could be a chance to do that very thing. We’ve certainly seen a lot of different cold-case stories on different crime TV shows over the years, but this is one that is going to bring something a little bit different to the table. The legal angle and the characters are what effectively makes this series different than many of the others that are out there.

Below, the official Bull season 2 episode 16 synopsis below offers up a little more in the way of insight into what is coming up:

“Absolution” – Bull seizes upon the opportunity to get a new trial for an old client when doubt is cast upon evidence that helped convict him of murder 14 years earlier. Also, Danny is reluctant to work with Cable’s replacement, on BULL, Tuesday, March 6 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

This episode is going to be an opportunity to dive into another mind-bendy case; beyond that, this is also going to provide a chance to see just how much the team struggles with Cable absent from the team. Could Danny serve as a reason to bring Cable back? We certainly think so, but we also don’t think that an eventual return for her is going to take some time. You have to figure out a way for it to make sense — if it ever happens at all given that there is no verification of anything at the moment.

This episode is going to be in the middle of a run of episodes that start tonight and run until March 13. At the moment, it appears as though there’s going to be a repeat airing on CBS come March 20.
