The Resident episode 6 preview: Is Conrad’s father becoming a problem?

Are you excited to see The Resident episode 6? If you are curious in learning more about Conrad’s backstory, this could be the episode for you. You will meet his father, and judging from what we’re getting in the synopsis below, these are not characters who have the best relationship:

As Conrad battles a group of overly aggressive attending physicians on behalf of a patient with a mysterious chronic ailment, he also must face off against his father who has shown up at the hospital unannounced. When Mina goes out of her way to help a young man from her neighborhood who almost mugged her, Nic offers her assistance and discovers a secret that Mina has been keeping behind closed doors. While away from the hospital, Nic enlists the help of Devon to keep an eye on Lily, which leads him to an incredible find that has him questioning Dr. Lane’s motives. Also, Renata’s plans to poach a renowned surgeon from another hospital hit a standstill when Bell decides he doesn’t agree with him in the all-new “No Matter The Cost” episode of THE RESIDENT airing Monday, March 5 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. All of this sounds like more of the same for The Resident (save for Conrad’s father), but we mean that in the best way since this show has subtly created a number of great storylines for itself. Take, for example, Nic doing everything that she can to figure out some of the truth about Dr. Lane — the more help she recruits, the more in turn this could bring her to finally figuring out how to stop the Dr. Lane character from concealing the truth about some of her work. Meanwhile, Dr. Bell is going to continue huffing and puffing and you have to wonder just how long this is going to last. This character is a tool, but he’s also an essential tool for furthering the story. There’s this feeling that unless he turns things around he’s heading out the door; if that downfall ever comes, it’s going to be potentially delicious to watch.

Hopefully, we’ll just continue to see the drama build until we get to a pivotal point in the story for all of these characters.
